TB service just completed

Hi all, just finished work on my TB replacement. 3 days, 15 hours, lots of work. Car started much better this morning (+5 C). However it starts worse once engine warms up (weird I think :/ ). I had to make a special tool to remove mechanical fan (I had to warm it up with the torch too). It just wouldnt come off, no matter how hard I tried. Also, I dont think I could of accomplished TB replacement without special tools set. Belt was in pretty good condition, I have 105k on the car, and it looked like it could last for another 20-30k. Hope I never have to do it again, at least on this same car

Congrats, thats a big job and alot of $ saved..

The factory tools are definitely worth having. I have a set for our 30v and it makes all the difference in doing the job, including the spanner wrench for the fan clutch.
