Electrical Issuesnafter car was washed by a pressure sprayer

Has anyone else had the same problem. What did your solution end up being? the last time this happened, I took it to the dealer and they had it for 5 days with no answer. It came back shortly after. Its back though after getting car washed again.

Whats not working right after he car wash:
hitting the unlock button insed actually locks all the doors
memory switches not working
power mirrors not working
when drivers door is open, display shows that all the doors are open

sounds like a door seal leaked and water got into switches inside

suggest remove door panels and dry out switches ans door locks

I would check the rubber tube, that passes the wires to the door.

Yes Pull the interior door skin

No big deal...30 minutes and buy some silicone spray or contact cleaner. While you are ther make sure the boot is sealed so you don't have this problem again. Good Luck.

there are little clips that hold it on and the recievers for these get

brittle and break-.90 cents each
