1999 A8 Replacement Antenna
My antenna recently got snapped off. It's a radio/cell combo but I never use the phone so I only need radio reception. Prices to purchase the rod and base via a dealer are $190.00 plus which seems high to me for just an antenna. From another post I learned that the part numbers for a 98 A8 are:
98 A8 Combined cell radio parts number
4D0 051 501A for "antenna, for vehicles with telephone" (non-retracting type).
BUT, there are also numbers for:
4D0 035 501A "antenna, base"
4D0 035 849A "antenna rod"
Can anyone tell me if the part numbers are the same for a 99A8 and if this price seems fair?

I tried to get a base and Audi said it was discontinued and no longer available.
I got a cheap aftermarket that looks pretty close to the original for like $35 or so. I had to kind of make it work but it does to job.
