Default Interior room - kids as passengers?

I'm high on local wait list (would be trading in a beloved '94 Audi S4; the TT will be my 4th Audi) but have a couple of questions for current TT owners:
1. I'm a little over 6' 2". Will I fit?
2. Yes, I know it's a sports car, but would still like to be able to run around town with both my kids in it (ages 6 and 9). Two questions:
A. Is it true you can switch off the passenger side air bag, so a kid can ride up front?
B. Can a child really ride in the rear seat, or is it just a package shelf?
I love the TT, but if I can't get my kids in it I'll have to wait for the new S4 coming out in the fall...or the new S6 coming out next year...
Thanks for your help and advice...anybody want a great '94 S4?
Can answer the passenger air bag question. Yes, it is very easy to turn off. It's in the glove box and you turn it on and off with your ignition key. Simple.
The 9 year-old can do the front and the 6 year- old the back. (Of course, having had youngsters, you know they'll fight about it. They can take turns.) With one child in the passenger front, I believe that that seat could be moved forward to give the child in back more room. Don't know about both in back because you are tall and may not be able to move the driver's seat very far forward. Take them both with you to test drive.
As far as 6'2", you'll have to decide. I'm 5'9" with long legs and I find it totally comfortable, like a cradle, but I'm a gal and you are a taller guy.

I'm a little over 6'2" and I fit just fine in the driver seat. However, nobody with legs could dream of sitting behind the driver's seat if it is pushed back -- which you would have to do.
As far as the kids, Audi recommends repeatedly in the owner's manual that the backseat is not intended for anyone over 4'11". While you should still have some time to haul around the kids and enjoy a great car, you may experience incredible growing pains as they outgrow the car.

Default Yes, with butter and a crowbar

My 10 and 13 yr olds fit fine, the 13yo in the front ahead of the 10yr old who is only 4'3". By the time she's too tall for the back, I figure I'll be due for a new car anyway.
Haven't tried the 10yo behind me, I'm 6'2" like you, but I suspect I could make it happen in a pinch so that my wife can have the front seat. But in general, I plan on leaving the wife home, I already know how small the car is, don't need constant reminding...

What Denny said, plus the fact that I'm 6' and have head room to spare! My two kids (ages 5 & 7) rotate front to back every other day. Audi says no persons taller than 4'11" in the back, and it's not because of leg room, it's head room! The hatchback is very low, and will smack them on the head if they're too big!
