Micro-scratches after a wash?

I don't know the right term for it, but after the first washing on my TT I noticed that there seem to be tiny scratches all over the car. They really only show when the sun hits the paint just right (black TT). Is this from the drying rags that were used on the car? Will a little wax fix that right up or have I already botched things up? What is everybody else using for car care?

They are probably from the dealer waxing. There are polishes and swirl removers available. Lokk at the Zymol line on teh Autosupermart.com site

I'd noticed the same thing on my TT. I just went to the web site and purchased what you recommended. How long have you been using Zymol products?Brett

I've been a Zymol user since about '93. Based on years of use, IMHO, the "Vinyl" is outstanding, as is the "Carbon" wax.

Make sure your usign a 100% cottom anything on your paint, nylon will cause the spider webing micro scrathes your talking about.Q

The best product by far for black cars is "Liquid Ebony". I don't know where to get it these days, b ut it is incredible for removing swirl marks on black cars.
