Default .... 5:27am .... wax on, wax off ....

following a pleasant mid-afternoon nap, i randomly got the urge to wax TT - in the back of my mind knowing it has been more than two months since. For starters my TT was already spotless from the day before, slightly dusted. I learned my lessons on a black E430 we used to own, had 'spiderweb' scratches like you wouldn't believe due to quick/careless washes over time - by now i've burned a robot-like routine into my brain making sure to spray dirt off sponge after each body-panel is soaped-up, etc.

Yada Yada, 1 coat mother's scratch remover (wonder-stuff!!) 2coats sealer&glaze and 1 coat carnauba wax to finish - started washing TT @ 7pm and finished wax @ 5am, all by hand. How TT shines when done never ceases to amaize me - simply stunning.

Only difference from previous waxing-missions is that this time i soaped, wiped and polished every millimeter of the TT like never before when someone gets in for a ride even when the interior hasn't been cleaned always mention the 'new car smell' which cracks me up considering its 2 years old ...

cheers & wishing a pleasant weekend to all across the land, hehe
