Ticket for No Front License Plate
Here in San Francisco, the parking enforcement officers (i.e. meterpersons) gave me a ticket for not having front plates (apparently the "dragnet" is more than just police officers). Once you get the plate, your local police officer can sign the ticket, and then for a $10 fee (as opposed to the $25 ticket) the ticket is resolved. But given the voraciousness of SF parking, I'd suggest people get their front plates here -- this happened the second time I parked out on the street!

Sounds like big brother to me. At least here in Florida we don't have to worry about that. I told my dealer that under not circumstances should they put a front plate on my car. One problem with the TT is that it attracts a lot of attention.
