Door dings, other parking lot nasties

Hi Everyone,I very much enjoyed the discussion on door dings and other parking lot nasties. Just like Brad says, I encourage you to find an outside spot in the lot whenever possible. Only exposing one side of your car *does* help. Plus you get to park right up against the curb for that extra buffer zone of a foot or two.My rule for parking lots:a) find an outside spot and park as far to the curb as possibleb) if the curb spot is not available park far away. People are lazy, if you see a half empty lot the extra few meters are worth itI also found the hint for people with white winters to park out of the "sliding in" zone rather smart.Thanks for the discussion.Ralph
