Price of Quattro Option

Does anyone know the cost of the quattro option on the 180 bhp TT? I ordered a TT Quattro recently, but my dealer did not seem to know how much money that would add to the msrp of the car. In fact, the dealersip claimed they were only notified the day that I placed the order (through the regional Audi representative) that Audi was accepting orders for the fall delivery of TT Quattros. Thanks.

I would guess in the $1,500 - 1,600 range (that is what it is for the A4) - nt

$1600...

In addition, the TTS as AoA is referring to the 225 HP version will be $3000 more than a Quattro 180 HP. Later in 2000, the FWD may even be dropped from the US line-up.

Factory accepted my order months ago...

...and started building my TTQ several weeks ago. It's in "D" (build) status. I'm supposed to take delivery in 4 weeks... <p>My dealer said that the Quattro option will be a little bit more on the TT than the $1,600 Quattro option on other Audis because it's new and improved.<p>Many have guessed around $1,800...

My dealer told me $1,650 for quattro. My big dilemma is that I'll have to make a decision tomorrow whether I want a quattro or FWD. I have a deposit on FWD, but apparent a quattro is becoming available sometime in August or early September and I'm on the top of the list for that one if I want it. I test drove a FWD and even rented one for a weekend from a rental car place. Love it. Don't know how quattro drives. Don't think that's really necessary in So. Cal. But that quattro may become available earlier than FWD... I don't think I can sleep tonight...
