Anyone else notice a decline in the number of stares?

Even worse, I was following a nice S4 up the toll road this morning and I passed a brand new blue TTQ (still had his 30 day tags on). I gave him a nice smile and wave as I passed and he didn't even look over.
I don't really drive this car for the image, but I did like the attention while I was getting it.
When I first got my silver TTQ people were craning
the necks to figure out what I was driving. Gassing up was a hoot. I still get the stares but
not as much.
But the point is, the car is still getting plenty of attention.
But the TT is still getting a lot of attention when I drive it or gas up - and that's here in Southern California. I have cars changing lanes on the freeway to follow from behind just to get a closer look on the TT. Bottom line - not too many TT's have arrived in the States, so a lot of people still don't have a clue to what a TT is or looks like. I think once the roadsters and 225 come out in mass, the neck-turning will ease up - just like it did for the BMW Z3.
