5.0 This!!

I said I wasn't going to do it... They're just too fast. Well. I couldn't resist. Silly yellow Mustang pulled up next to me, rev'd the engine and all that crap. Light changed and blew the doors off that POS. Pretty even off the line. As second gear comes real fast, I was edging out. By the time I hit third, that's all she wrote. Third gear came and went, shifted to fourth with a two car length lead. By the time I shifted to fifth I was already easing back on the gas and he was sucking hind tit. WOW! I still don't believe it... Either I was real lucky with an inexperienced driver or the car really is a POS.

Stock (Except for the tint) 180q

Perhaps he was just "feeling" you out OR wanted to see just how your car ran?

Careful with the mustangs in a straight line. Trust me on this one, it sounds like you ran across a real novice if it was a real 5.0. Granted, i really wouldnt want to tangle with a TT on a canyon road, but in a drag, you shouldnt have had any sort of chance. I drive one every day, and have driven quite a few 180 fwd's and Q's, so I'm sure I'm being objective here.

I always beat out stock 5.0 (&4.6) with my 3.8 V6 Camaro. The mustang really does suck.

Congrat, I just did the same thing yesterday, but...

I had not got a chance on straight. He was about half the car length in front when we were still on 2nd. I knew GT is much faster than 180Q, but I just wonted to know how much faster in the real world.

After I backed off, I saw him turning in to high way, still driving pretty fast. I followed as I needed to get on the high way and totally caught him up on the rump. I love the handling of TT.

I am so ready to chip my car though.
