Bose sound system
is the Bose sound system that much better than stock and is it possible to add a CD changer to a stock system and is there a prexisting cut out for the changer in the left rear arm rest...I need to decide whether or not to get the sound system upgrade for my TT coupe

you'll get a lot of differing opinions about the bose, to say the least. Some like it, some don't, some hate it. Many question if its worth $1200. Much is in the archives about this.
Personally, my TT will have no bose, in favor of aftermarket speakers and amplifier. The in-dash head unit is the same with or without the Bose upgrade.
As for the CD changer, yes, you can order the changer and a bracket and install it in the same place-- the "cut out" is actually a storage compartment. Try http://www.clairparts.com for the parts. Good luck!
