TT Suspension Upgrades & Audi TT Drive Days in Australia

I have 2 Questions for anyone facing these 2 events. (a) Will you be going to these Drive Days before you decide on the upgrades seeing as these mods are irreversible and you have to have it with their spoiler or not at all, and (b) Seeing as the mods are designed to tame the TT by giving it more understeer and a heavier and softer rear end, will they add to or subtract from the value of the car. In other words, do you think the first generation unmodified TTs will be more collectible in the future?

Firstly the suspension mods and the spoiler are either/or, not both. I am not going to quote my source on that however believe me that it is accurate.

As to the value of the car, that is where a crystal ball is required. However, there will always be a market for enthusiasts who will be after the sharper handling original cars; as to what degree that has impact on the residual values I must have been asleep during that particular day at crystal ball gazing class!!

As to the handling of the car, wait for the TT experience day to determine your own impressions. I understand that a special course is being developed to demonstrate these differences, ie it is not same as the existing quattro drive days using TT's instead of A4's and A6's.
