It looks interesting.

They sent me a black cushion as well as a dark blue one.
The blue doesn't match my blue interior so I will install the black one.

I'll post more information as soon as I'm done.

Default Here is a picture, put together (cup holder extended and not), but not installed.

I may not install it this weekend; I need a little more information from the manufacturer. To install the armrest I may need to drill into my console and I want to be sure before I do that.

Background information (for those of you that have missed my past posts):
Several months ago I contacted an armrest manufacturer about making an armrest for us TTers. I have posted many times and have gotten a lot of input from my fellow TTers about requirements. They are reluctant to go straight to manufacturing without more direct input because the startup costs are about $80,000.

If I feel that the armrest works, then they will take the next step.

The expected cost including shipping will be about $120.

Default That has been one of the major areas of discussion. (more)

Since Audi does not make one for the TT any aftermarket armrest will not fit exactly.

The picture is of a prototype and one of the things they are looking at if it works well, is to make the brackets out of brushed aluminum.
