WIERD TT problem...I hear a "perkilating" sound torward the back end...
WIERD TT problem...I hear a "perkilating" sound torward the back end...TT 2000 180 FWD...anyone else have this wierd problem? what the hell is it? it only happens once every 2-4 weeks.

I think it is the same thing I have
It is definitely a weird noise. Sounds like water or air through a pipe. Only happens on my 180FWD above 45-50 MPH. I have an appointment on Monday. The dealership is a good one so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they find it. I will post whatever happens.

There were some posts about this almost a year ago.
It's normal; if I remember correctly, there's an electric pump in the gas tank system which moves gasoline between seperate compartments of the gas tank. The sound you hear is the gas draining back.
