Window Problem.... Anybody had this?
The only flaw I have experienced was when the Passenger Side switch did not work. The window worked from the driver side BTW. The window opened slightly as it should have.
Before the car went to the Museum for the winter , the switch was fixed, but now I find the window does not "crack open" as it should, and the "pinch protection os gone".
The car is going in on the 17th to fix it. But............. I'd like your experience with this problem, I know someone else had the same thing but I cannot find it VIA the search engine.
Did the dealer forget to plug in a wire? Fry a relay that was functional before?

If both windows don't crak open then it is simply software. Easy fix.

As Ivan said, it's an electronic glitch. My dealer changed the window control unit for the passenger
side window.<p><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/jk.jpg" border="0" alt=" "></a>

Problem Fixed... RTFM.... page 70 .... reset the window computer.. (more)
Funny the Service dept DID NOT know, or do this when they put the new switch in....
does this mean tat each window has it's own computer...
ahhhhhhhhhhh perfection again....
