Road trip to Shasta/Trinity, thoughts....
Headed to Red Bluff, then West on 36 to Eureka, Down to the Lost Coast, out to Shelter Cove, then Hwy 1 home to Marin. Northern California is stunning!
The TT isn't a car, it's a low-flying plane. Outstanding car, I love it. It handles much like my old rally cars.
I found and got briefly stuck in snow. Even with a Quattro, when all four wheels are off the ground you get zero traction!
Now I want coilovers for the front and the appropriate spring/damper setup for the rear...and maybe lowering by an inch.
I also would like bigger brakes. However the Porsche setup at $2700 for the fronts and $2400 for the rears (plus labor) is a bit steep.
I used 2nd, 3rd and 4th mostly on the twisties. With a lot of on/off on the throttle I encountered a strange "clonking" from the throttle assembly...which has now disappeared with normal driving. Any thoughts?<p>ChrisTTopher Lloyd
