Default OT: Was just at the BMW dealer today and..

saw the new M3 there. Yep, a real genuine 01' M3. I didn't have my camera with me, but the thing did look pretty nice, similar to the 3-series, but not the same. It was the blue-ish/green colour (kinda ugly IMHO) and overall it looked really WIDE. The wheels looked kinda different than the ones in the earlier 'pre-production' pictures, but everything else in the exterior seems to be similar. The interior looks rather boring, just like a typical 3-series except for the nice seats (Recaro's?), this one didn't have the NAV system nor have any aluminum trim, just basic black everything. I talked to the salesman about a test drive, and he said I must put a deposit down before taking it out for a spin, this one on the lot isn't for sale, but just for demo purposes Up here in Canada, most of the time we pay MSRP for most cars, never over, sometimes under. The price tag on it was $69,900 CDN I believe, not too sure.

Honestly? I think this is a true drivers car. Performance/Handling I'd say would be pretty hard to beat. The salesman told me to give him a call again sometime end of this week, he's giving me the idea that he could sneak me in for a test drive I guess I'll give my little review of this 333bhp beast if I get the chance to test it out, but then again, its kinda hard to compare it with our TT's.

Default I saw a convertable at the atlanta auto show

Design is typical new bmw. Stylish yet conservative. Interior is nice, rather plain but nice. The seats are the cats meow though. M3's have always been heavy, bulky cars. I imagine the latest is no exception. A very nice car in every aspect though. I would own one, although I wouldn't trade my TT for one just because the TT is "what I wanted" and, to me, the m3 is just another bmw.
