"blow-by"valve replacement
I know this is not the correct name for the valve that people are replacing with the "Bailey-forge". I decided to have Audi replace my bad valve with their new replacement valve. Have had it in for about a month-my impression is that the car has less power throughout its range, but most noticeably on the top-end.
Has anybody else replaced their valve with the new Audi valve? If so, have you noticed a change for the better or worse. My original was making noise, but I was not experiencing any power loss-guess I should have lived with the noise.

You shouldn't have to live with the noise because it's defective, it WILL go out....................
possibly when you least expect. My valve is making a slight noise and I know I have a lot of low end power loss on my 225. I am not to far from my 5000m service and will get mine replaced with the new valve. From what I have heard of the valve, so far so good. One can only hope. -Doug
