My gauges are freaking out!...

I started my car this morning, and the clock started flashing, the speedometer and tachometer wouldn't move, and the gas gauge was flipping back and forth! Has anyone ever seen this before. I hope it doesn't have anything to do with my chip!

Reset them by removing the two fuses (14 & 15 I think but check the manual). If that doesn't work

then you may need the cluster replaced.

Re: Not the chip.. console is fubar. Have dealer replace it.

I tried the quick fix via resetting the fuse but it didn't do me any good. In my case, the console problem was intermittent then became worse over 3 month period. So I couldn't convince the dealer until it was really bad. The first time I reported it, they said they added some conductive gel to the electricals, but it didn't help any. In any case, just bring it in and have them replace the whole console.
