cluster problem? or something else?
so for the last 3 or 4 days, upon starting the car in the morning; there is a ZAP sound when i turn the key and sometimes the car starts up, sometimes it doesn't.
when the car doesn't start up, i try again after a couple of seconds and it starts up no problem!
then today, after work i started the car and it did the same ZAP, started up...and then stayed on for about a second and then shut off again. started it again and no problem...
when i got out of the parking structure, i realised that my entire dashboard was dead. the tachometer, speedometer, gas gauge, and temp gauge were all at 0.
the center information display was working fine though!
i pulled over, turned the car off...restarted it and everything was fine again!
what do you guys think?

so is the trouble JUST starting then?
this is my 3rd instrument cluster since i bought the car y'know.....
is there anything i can do now to prevent it from going? any fuse to replace or something? LTM
