Shameless plug for Blitz Wax and Vinylex Toweletts....

I waxed just the hood of my Van last week melting the carnuba in my hands and buffing it off after a moment. After a long trip with hoards a bugs smattered across the bow hardened by the baking sun, it was easy to remove them with a splash of water and light wash solution and cloth. No heavy solvents. Blitz is great stuff. Also after doing the wheels of the TT I can literally spray the dust off the wheels. I am more thorough usually but for regular washes it does help to keep the wheels up.

I got some sample towlettes from carecareonline.com and had some fingerprints, coffee stains etc.. on the black and grey plastic for at least 6 months. After wringing most of the solution out of the towel it cleaned everything really well without leaving a sheen. Not sure the results using the towel wet out of the bag but they recommend wringing it out for interiors.

I tried it w/o wringing and it's way too juicy and shiny

exactly....you can have it your way, juicy and shiny or dull but clean.

My Blitz Wax just arrived from carcareonline.com, too. I also ordered

some Blitz Tar Remover, P21S car wash (my favorite), a liter of P21S Wheel Cleaner, Wurth window cleaner, Wurth Rubber Gel Stick (for the creaky window seals), and some Sonax car wash (to see whether it'll dethrone the P21s).

They threw in some P21S windshield wipes as a courtesy. I'm happy doing business with them.
