Well gang..I found the cause of one of my squeaks......I was doing a rather intensive wash and

clean of the TT....(very unlike me). And while wiping out the door jambs I noticed that the door seal had actually worn the paint on the jamb right down to the metal!! It's right up high on the curve just before the top of the jamb...I'll try to post a picture tomorrow.

So, the question is...What caused it to rub? A door misalignment? Any thoughts?

It looks like the dealer has got something else to fix when I get that O2 sensor and license plate light fixed. *sigh*...I hope it doesn't mean it's gotta be gone for a few days...

They'll probably just put some anti-squeak (isolation) tape on it, assuming...

...that the door isn't severely mis-aligned. Make sure that they fix the paint, and don't let them just put the tape on without addressing the real problem!!!!!
