They are rumored to be ~$1300-1500 ea. Have not seen any MTBF figures.

I've had mine replace once already...the second time is tomorrow.

My dealer must love me or something. I told them about some dust/spider web inside which is a defect and they replace them both, no more questions.

Here is what is on my estimate:

Headlamp, Assy, Halogen 8N0941003J 370.00
Headlamp Assembly 8N0941003AM 1,030.00

This is, of course, for replacing entire assembly without labor charge.
