Oh oh...NexxTT got an invitation to the State Trooper's Ball today. Er...how fast
was I going....well a few hundred yards before it was 120+ (hey, new tires, perfect balancing), but I got clocked at 83 and locked in at 81 in a 70 (smallTTs is right, BarTT).
(Nancy had my Passport in the A6 and I had a hand me down (weak detector) in the TT.
How's that for bass ackward?
Thinking I'd have to call in a chit from a friend, I asked Sir Trooper, "Officer, which parish (county) is this anyway?" ST, "St John." NXT, "Oh, good." Trooper continues to write, more quickly than before, he thinking that this may in fact be an exercise in futility.
NXT, "Have a nice day, Officer." ST, "Yes sir, drive safely now."
And no, I did not say, "Gee, good thing you didn't clock me back there at 120+!"
TTNancy is now at the dealer for her 25k service, light/lock bug, suspension noise (bushings maybe), and other assorted small stuff. Will report back about suspension noises week after next when we return.

Too funny...20 yrs ago got another invite in south TX...trooper looked at political bumper sticker
for a sheriff's candidate I was handling in LA and just said...."thank you for supporting law enforcement, sir, just take it easy getting to Houston."
And I did just that...for a few miles anyway. lol
