Teflon Coating
I'm having a Teflon coating put on our new TT. It is called TST 5000. It is applied to the paint and also the carpets. It is supposed to make bugs and tar wipe off very easily. If anyone has any experience with this new finish could you let me know about it. www.TST5k.com Thanks

This is equivalent to having rust proofing done on the underside of the car when it already has it.
Teflon coatings are nothing but waxes that are applied in the same manner.
You can buy *Instant Detailer* from Eagle One tha has Teflon in it.
Sorry, I think it is useless.

I'm sure your not far off base. One thing it did come with was a five year warrantee that will replace anything that stains the finish inside or out. Well we picked it up yesterday so its to late to change our mind but the bugs do wash off very easy so far. I usually get a gut feeling about most bad things but not with this and Im not sure why. Must of been good propaganda! LOL
Oh well we live and learn. I'm just more people didn't comment on it since it was developed in Pittsburg,Pa. Thanks for you input!
