Gas gauge problem
My TT is 8 months old - I just noticed a problem with the gas gauge.
It is showing way more than I actually have, and it fluctuates when stopped at a light.
Anyone have the same problem - and what was your experience in getting the problem fixed?

A very good chance it is your fuel sending units . . .
I am about to have mine replaced for the second time on Tuesday.
These same exact units were defective/faulty in the A6 and were recalled. Still waiting for Audi to do the same with the TT.

sorry, it's not the same unit as the a6
the a6 quattro which was recalled severall times for the fuel sending unit problem in italia and us has 3 (!) fuel sending units (connected in a row) in the tank - the TT has one fuel sending unit.
the only relation between the a6 and tt unit is the manufacturer: VDO
