Something stinks! :} Clutch overheated...
Hello all,
Coming back home from work today I didn't know why but wanted to push the car a little harder. So on one traffic light (2 minutes away from home) I went up 5000-5500 releasing the clutch. The engine stalled and the car wasn't moving no matter what gear I put in for the next 5-10 seconds. Then everything came back but with a strong smell. I got afraid but I was close to home and now the clutch is cooling off
Anyway I know about overheating clutches since where I live you want see any automatic cars... Anyway was this normal behavour for the TT? I mean I havent done that before but I would expect the car to start. Should I worry about the clutch? The car will not be used for the next 5 days so I think it has pretty much time in cooling off...
Any thoughts or problems that my stupidity caused?
