Flat tire

I got a flat tire and after I put in the spare I could not fit in the regular tire in my trunk. Is there a way to do it

I put an 8" thick bookbag back there all the time. A tire really can't fit???

I can see how a tire wouldn't fit in the same place as that skinny little donut, but surprised our wheels wouldn't fit in the trunk. You could put the seat backs down if its that bad and push the wheel all the way forward, I guess.

Friend just told me what a nightmare a spare is on a mid-90's Vette. I think we are far better off, as they didn't have a trunk and eventually went with run-flats.

It fits in a 225 TTC

I had a flat tire last week and drove around for a few days with the flat tire (mounted on the wheel, 225/45/17). No problems.

180 TTR trunk is much deeper than 225 TTQR trunk. stock wheel doesn't fit in TTQR trunk.

Doesnt fit in the trunk of the 225 TTR

Even with all the air out of the tire.
I had the same problem. put it in the bag and behind the the front seat. It fits behind the front seat if you put the seat back straight up and run it all the way forward. Just hope you dont have a passenger or if you do that He/She is a contortionist to fit back in the car.

I was talking about a TT roadster... Its sad that we cannot fit the tire in, anyways please suggest where I should buy tires from as I might need to replace all 4 of them soon.
