Default bilstein PSS/PSS9 coilover negative-camber problems?

anybody with PSS or PSS9s have negative camber problems after installation?

lots of people with H&R coilovers note major negative camber problems. are Bilsteins just as bad?

for (pedal-happy) day-to-day driving, is the extra $300 to get the PSS9s over the PSSs worth it?

Lloyd, he of the Rings, would you post Terry Griffin's number for the umpteenth time?

Default KMAC has both Front and Rear kits. Does the Bilsteins install require...

...both kits or is just the rear kit needed? I'm thinking 30mm to 40mm lower than stock after the install and was hoping that I only had to be concerned about the back end camber requiring such. But if I need to do the front end also, I'd like to know BEFORE I start.

Where's them backordered Bilsteins - come on, I know you're out there. I'm waiting, but not too patiently.

GRINS, Curt

Default I have them and the camber doesn't seem too bad so far. haven't got them checked yet though...

Slotting or elongating the lower links bolthole (lengthwise) is the least inexpensive way of alleviating the excessive camber. The KMAC kit is an overkill in my opinion.

Default As I understand it...

Lowering the TT creates the negative rear camber problems. It is not better or worse with one company's kit versus the other.

The TTR exhibits a greater negative rear camber issue than does the TTC. So, if folks installing coilovers on a coupe claim not to have these problems, as I understand the issue, it would be an erroneous conclusion to assume that there is less of a problem because that individual is using Brand X's coilovers.

If SCTT, for example, sells his coupe and buys a roadster, I suspect he will have a different experience with negative camber.

Default Question on "slotting" your own...

Brad, if I recall correctly, you had your stock ones slotted. I haven't taken mine apart yet so this question is in preparation - Did you slot the hole in both directions or only to one side, i.e. in or out? My son and his friend do a lot of dirt tracking and have an extensive machine shop so I am thinking about having them do the slotting. I assume this is fairly straight forward. How long were the the slots made?

THANKS, Curt
