Suggestions for 17x8 wheels with stoptech brakes.
I am looking for a set of 17x8 wheels for my 225ttq. My desire is to find a set that will provide adequate clearance over a stoptech brake retrofit (future upgrade). Has anyone installed the stoptech brake upgrade and is running 17x8 wheels? If so what brand, model, and offset? Light weight is a bonus. I am looking for 17x8's so I can run 235/40/17 competition tires for autocross, 18" competition tires are hard to find.

SSR Integral Comps - might not like the anthracite finish depending on the color of your TT but

Thanks for the info. The SSR's were one of the wheels I have thought about, but have not been able to find fitting info on (or reports of proper fit). I have been surprised how hard it has been to determine if stoptech's will fit under any given 17x8 wheel. The wheel manufacturers and resellers generally do not seem to supply complete dimension and weight information for each style and size. Many a time I have found that although a 17x8 wheel looks like it should fit, upon further research I found that the wheels the rep vaguely remembered were 18" or something like that. It seems that the most reliable method I have found to determine fit is to speak with someone who has tried to fit a particular wheel over a particular brake. Although I must admit stoptech's dimension guide has been handy.

These work fine. They are the ABT Z3's from Stratmosphere. I'm running 245/40's.
