Default Any suggestions where to go or who to talk to for used or new TT coupe's in Chi town?

I'm currently an A4 owner...but am very tempted to start looking for a TT. Mostly cause my A4 is only front wheel drive and also since the new A4's look more conservative and a little less sporty.

So here are some questions:

-has anyone actually fit a person in the back seat of a TT coupe?

-best dealers in chicago? I have a general idea, but I guess more specifically, can anyone recommend any honest(lol) & cool sales people to talk to to get a good deal.

Thanks a bunch...hopefully I'll be joining your ranks soon

Default Don't go to...

Schaumburg...my experience there sucked....and others have followed. Especially if you're younger.
Bought mine at Continental in Naperville, they did quite well by me...others have had good luck at the Exchange (way north along the lake) and also McGrath near Niles.
Btw, bought mine used...3k mi on the clock, of course the market was much better then so I paid more

Default I've seen people in the back seat three times.

...And all three times, they got stuck, and they won't do it ever again. I don't recommand it with anyone over the age of let's say...10.

I bought my TT from Laurel Audi in Tinley Park, and they did a great job. If you're willing to take a little drive, there's Gurley Leep in South Bend, IN. They've almost always got at least one or two TTs sitting in the lot, and I'm pretty sure they have a red 2001 TT Coupe out there right now with 225, Premium, Bose, and grey interior.

Default Bought other Audi at the Exchange, avoid Loeber period, got my TT outside Boston...

and drove it back, got an incredible deal in my opinion and money off since I flew out and picked it up. Essentially comped the cost of my plane flight and bed & breakfast. Threw in a car cover, gadgets, and had the wheels sent out and fully reconditioned for me, great drive back via Niagra Falls and New England. Found it via the Audiusa site national preowned search, Ira Motor Group and Dan Gallagher (978) 739-8687, dang@iramotorgroup.com, he specializes in internet sales and was by far the best customer service I have every recieved from a sales person. Also they will ship the cars for a relatively low fee(but I wanted to drive it). Incredible service, car was perfect and ready to go and I got it for $4,000 less than the next closest dealer or private owner. Worth a check, for a comparible or better deal with what you find here, they mainly have Porsches and Audis with alot of inventory to move. He even got my car Audi Assured for the extended warranty for me.

Oh and yes recently got a relatively petit female in the back with a big guy up front so it is possible. Don't recommend it (for the passenger's sake) but it's possible.
