Try a speed measurement up & down and let us know what it says.
This <a href="http://webservices.cnet.com/bandwidth/" target="_new">CNET speed test</a> gives reliable results.
I've been fed up with Earthlink DSL in the bay Area, and might move back to Cable, as long as speed & reliability are better.

DSL Reports gave the connection a respectable 1.2Mbps... much lower than the 3.8Mbps on @Home...
I hope that they will eventually remove the speed cap as they settle in with all the new users..... this sucks, but sure beats dialups....
