Left signal directional lamp is out..but it lights up using turn signal?

Left signal directional lamp is out..but it lights up using turn signal?
Have had some weird quirks w/ my electrical system. the other day making a hard right turn all my interior gauges lit up momentarily including the check engine light and then went out. Has this happened to any one else?
It's not the battery terminal..it's tightly fastened. Could it be an ECU glitch?

Had the exact same problem- that is what started my whole headlight problem
They replaced my entire headlight. Later I find out that they switches the color slightly of the headlights- so they ended up replacing both again- finally got done today (after 3 months of bulls***)

Sounds familiar...
NexxTT and I had a similar problem. Biggest part of the problem was getting the replacement lamp and the TT to the dealer at the same time.
Weird quirky resetting of digital clock to date TT went into svc.
Old forum buddies will remember this.....
