Ok..installed the BMC CDA intake today.....a few thoughts and questions
I got to thinking, would it be aestectically better to remove the entire funnel end fromm the MAF side of the airbox and then place the MAF directly to the end of the CDA?......comments please.
Haven't routed the aluminum dryer hose to the front grill yet, I would like a better soulution,
I don't mind trimming sheetmetal too much, but surely there's a smart type out there who may have fabricated this using a silicone tube or maybe even a rigid PVC pipe with connectors to make the bends, Once again comments welcome.
As for performance, Installed it, did throttle adaptation, and drove it...HARD!
Nice bassy grumble from beneath the hood, let off the gas under load and Really hear the DV gasp.
Power is definately there even in 82 degree weather like I have here at 5pm. A couple of HP for sure, if not its a great placebo effect ;-)

Iam not trying to invent the wheel but it just seems that a better looking and functioning solution can be arrived by spending a few bucks and a couple of hours.
