Are these spaces regulation size or what!!?
A fews days back, I made a post regarding my run-in with the law. <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/415808.phtml">-Handicapped spots-</a>
With Marsha's help (Thanks!!), I was able to prove the signs designating an alleged "handicapped" spot were not regulation and closely resembled the size and colors of the location markers on that floor of the garage.
I cited the regulation to the city of Evanston and told them I had a call into the State to investigate the garage. Within a day, they called me back and told me that they are voiding my $450 worth of tickets. My feeling is they didn't want me to go to court because then the city would need to seriously spend some more money on this new garage to get all the spots regulation.
Needless to say, I feel bad for parking there but I truly didn't recognize they were supposed to be disabled spots. There was no real distinction between this end spot and others.
