Looks cool... but am I the only one >

who can't imagine Bell or Galati racing in it for the Touring Car Championship against the M3 and the 996?!

I think the A4 lost something critical in it's upgrade to become an A6 mini-me.

Yea..now I understand the complaints by the S4 crowd of looking too much like the A4...

want more of a separate styling statement than a rear winglet, driving lights and alloys. BUT the stats DO look nice!

But really - the current S4 only differs in looks due to the different front bumper, side skirts and

lower rear valence. Personally - I wouldn't mind the new all alloy 330-340hp V8 that is being developed by Cosworth in an S4. This also clears the way for the 430hp TwinTurbo that's in the Avantissimo to be used in the next RS4. With rumors of BMW putting the new F1 based V10 with 500hp in the new M5 and M6, Audi would surely be way behind the power curve without a V8 the next RS4/RS6.

Agree with current models looking similar and I think why some hoping for more separation of style

in new versions...and yes agree with you about engines...would be most interesting.

like the old A4 and they don't seem to mind. Of course the new A4/S4 will share the same body panels. What the hell do they expect? If they don't want it to look like an Audi, go buy a BMW. I mean my 225TTQC looks the same as a 180FWD TT and I don't really care. It's whats inside that counts.

b/c why would Audi only put 340 hp into this car that has to compete with the M3 and C32? Also, making the V8 light enough(would prob have to be all aluminum) to be feasible in this sports sedan would be waaay too expensive!
