Anyone using the Phatnoise Car Audio System?

Greetings,

I guess this could be a question for all Audi owners (more recent models), but I am wondering if anynone is using the Phatnoise Car Audio System? (www.phatnoise.com).

Its basically a drop-in MP3 player replacement for the CD Changer that uses the OEM head unit's CD controls. It uses a 20GB removable hard drive that can store 360 hours of music (up to 6000 songs).

If anyone is using this, and can post their experience it would be much appreciated!

I have had it for a while now and am very happy with it

Speech identity of albums and genres...good music managment. OEM compatible..well it used to be, now only Kenwood compatible.

I've got it also, and consider it the absolute *best*

add-on to my car I have purchased to-date, hands down.

Kenwood only available now but...

They stopped selling thier OEM version, only the Kenwood version is available now. But it seems the kenwood is basicly the same is their version with a 10gig hd, you just need to find/modify the cables to hook up to your factory system and download the protocal u need into it.

Some bmw guys have been playing around with them.
