Forgive me fellow TTers for I have sinned...

First time in 26 months, I took the TT to Home Depot... Parked in the back forty (not obnoxiously, I only took one space next to a curb.) Ran in (literally) got what I needed and headed back to the car. On the way out, I noticed four bystanders (two Homers, two passer-bys) pointing and drooling. As I approached the quartet, one of the Homers said "Cool car, it's a copy of the Lexus, isn't it?" To which I replied "No Homer, the Lexus is a poor attempt to copy the TT styling." I then see $20 passing hands and hear the other Homer say "See, I told ya so!" Then one of the passer-bys says "Can we look inside?" Well, Duh.

Even though I was very bad and vow never to take the TT to Home Depot, it was fun seeing the children inside these grown adults. Reminds me of the earlier days when no one knew what a TT was...

My TT goes to Home Depot all the time, Lowe's too...

For many of us here, the TT is our daily driver, so mine's been to Home Depot, Lowe's, the local movie cineplex, the mall, etc.

If I have to go there in a car, the TT's been there; I have no other choice...
