is the miles countdown to service an option?
I can't find it anywhere... my car just says "service" when I start it (and then nothing), but it never said "x miles to service". What's up with that? (2000 180FWD)

Not sure how helpful I can be, but seeing no one else has said anything I will try.
I have a 225QC, & it is currently not saying how many miles are required to service. If I press the left hand button in the instrument cluster, it tells me I have to do another 8200miles. (Need to be stationary, or almost stationary)
I think the manual states that it will count you down from about 1000miles. However, I am quite certain that if the computer is saying service, then you should get it serviced.
