OT: Boat sold in less than 24 hrs!!!!

OT: Boat sold in less than 24 hrs!!!!
Some of you may know that I had a boat.
Yesterday it hit the LA Boat Trader magazine on both the front cover and the inside. Yesterday, before I had even seen the magazine, I get a call, then another, then another. Two folks came by last nite, 4 more today and the FIRST guy that called and the first to see the boat just came by with a Deposit.
Check for full list due tomorrow by 6PM. Gotta love that!
So, why post on the TT forum? One, cuz I know you care :-)
Two, because this was a good lesson on the value of keeping up with both maintanance and appearance during ownership. The boat was in perfect condition as such it commanded full price and a VERY fast sale. Most of us here will make great sellers and I would buy a car from a forum member ahead of the "guy down the street' anyday.
Washing the car at 4:30 am, religious service attention, and a good vacuum go a long way when selling... It all becomes worthwhile when you get the price you want and are ready to move on.
