Well,it only took me 20 Months.
But, on Wednesday March 27th I got my first speeding tickent in my TTR. 84 in a 70. My V1 cigarette lighter thing had busted and I was debating buying another one.
Got nailed, new it, and while the HP was turning around in the grass I popped the hazards (which he thanked me for of all things) waited for him to catch up while slowing down, pulled over and took my ticket gracefully.
I think I surprised the crap out of the officer by my reaction. He did the 'you know what..' thing and I said 'yup' and he kinda laughed at that, told me I'd be amazed the number of people that said they were doing 70.
Only $108. Marked as an infraction so to my knowledge doesn't show up to the insurance company. No points in Kansas. Only thing it does is cost me the fine/court costs.
Guess I"ll hardwire the V1 before I break 77 again. Been putting it & the RioCar off for long enough I suppose.
