Anyone know if a Lidar can be fired at you from behind whilst you and the cop were moving?

Got done doing 85 in a 65 NJ trooper. He said Lidar, V1 went off. It's my understanding that they can't fire Lidar whilst moving. ANyone have any experience?

Unfortunately I didnt have the Lidatek rear (Just scheduked it to go in).

Default Yeah, he was moving behind me about two miles back. He ticked radar on ticket, but said Lidar...

And my V1 went off 4-5 minutes before he pulled me over.

That's what I thought, however I don't know how that holds up in court.

Default No, the bike cop has no case because he couldn't pace me. He didn't use anything. Here's the deal.

You got Lasered. Lidar needs to be stationary to get a reading...did he show you one? Regardless, he shot you. Were you going 85? I bet he was stationary.
