Hi
I was wondering if any of you guys had or heard of this problem on a chipped car.
I`m from the other side of the pond, and am having problems with Audi UK since they wont foot the bill for the engine rebuild as the car has been modified.

Chips will not cause this type of damage... Just put good quality gas in it, and knock sensors should do the rest. If you hear it ping get it checked out by the chip mfr or representative. More likely to incurr piston crown damage than anything as severe as what I did two months ago.
