Bit of a newbie question: What kind of benefits do you get from the FMIC's? Are they worth the $1000? I've been curious for a while and figured you'd be a good person to ask since you've got them.

Re: Benefits....retains the power you make first off in the car due to

not losing power to heatsoak...which can in some instances cost you 30hp...

Its worth getting...

as marcus said... doesn't give you more power, makes certain you don't lose power (to heat soak).

i had mine installed, but, based on recent experience...

it shouldn't be HATEFUL.

getting the car to this point

isn't difficult, but i don't know about removing the side mount intercoolers.

i imagine that the piping is the biggest PITA involved here.
