Bit of a newbie question: What kind of benefits do you get from the FMIC's? Are they worth the $1000? I've been curious for a while and figured you'd be a good person to ask since you've got them.

not losing power to heatsoak...which can in some instances cost you 30hp...

as marcus said... doesn't give you more power, makes certain you don't lose power (to heat soak).

Is the installation a do-it-yourselfable job, or something one would be best off going to a professional for? Doesn't seem like the easiest part to get to!

isn't difficult, but i don't know about removing the side mount intercoolers.

i imagine that the piping is the biggest PITA involved here.
