I had to see what all the hype was about the 350z. In all honesty it is a nice car. A true sports car hands down. Some think that Nissan cheaped out on the interior, but I don't really think so. Where the TT is elegant, the Z is just busy. The oddest thing is the rear tie bar I think. It severely limits cargo space which is a down point. The engine is nice, but is way too loud on the inside. The best part about the car is the cloth sport seats. They look awesome and feel good to. Lots of grip and side support. The leather ones were cheap though. Although the car doesn't stir my emotions as well as the TT, if I was limited by price, I wouldn't mind owning one. The biggest drawback to the Z is however the dealership. as soon as I pulled on the lot it screamed BOHICA (bend over here it comes again). True jerks but that's a different story.
The Z4 is an excellent car. More money, less practical, but lots of fun. When the salesman brought it around (by the way Ted who sold my wife here 325Ci is a great guy)I said "Good job, Ted!" The car was beautiful, silver exterior, brushed aluminum interior with red leather. Awesome. The thing I liked best about about the Z4 was the exhaust. I was wonderful low growl.
There are lots of great cars being built today, but I still think the TT is best as a total package. The style is original, the interior is pure class, and the power and handling is like a blank canvass ready for me to paint a custom masterpiece.
Temptation can be a good thing, because by experiencing other things we can more appreciate the original. This does not apply to my wife, though
