Assuming someone's lease: does anyone know the
particulars for doing this? With a new baby, it is the height of indulgence for me to keep my beloved 225QR 
( Our other car, a Passat GLX wagon, has reached the allotted mileage for the lease with 6 months to go! I think I know someone who would assume my TT's lease but I don't know how that's done. Does the dealer rewrite the lease for the new person at a lower monthly payment?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. TIA

it's not always the wisest option
your contract is your contract. Audi (and everyone else) will not re-write your lease. they actually want nothing to do with it but have you keep it. there are companies that will find a buyer and re-lease it to them. other than the fact that they guarantee the buyer will pay the payment, it's the same as if your neighbor started sending in your payment and parking your TT in his garage. car stays in your name and your credit still shows the debt. i'd sell it on the open market before doing the above. my wife and i got the coupe for the kid reason. maybe you can find someone to trade you their coupe
