Paging Mr. Bipes...Need Help!!

Ok, so I have it all wired, the adapter is connected, there is a CD in...I turn on the ignition and it will not let me select "mode" to make the CD player turn on...it just stays on the radio. So, I unplug everything from the adapter and plug the cd player back in and it works fine...then I plug everything back into the box and the same thing happens...Please tell me I am missing something.

I had this happen to me also but try turning car on and off couople

of times and see if that works while everything is connected. Let me know if that works.

not yet...

Still wont recognize the cd player...I know the cd player is getting power though because I can take the magazine in and out, and I hear it shuffling the CD's. I tried to trick the stereo by plugging the CD player in normally (w/o the adapter) and start a CD...then, turn the ignition off and insert the adapter. Then, when I turn the ignition back on...it just sits there for a second in silence and switches to radio on its own...any ideas??

yes...

Then i waited about a minute seeing if I could just get the Cd player to play without the Ipod, but it wont switch over to the cd player at all.
I know I am just missing something really easy.
