Default What are some advantages to Porting and Polishing the inside of the Manifold?

I was looking at Marcus' Fotki site and saw these. I was always curious of what this does to performance.

Default A few of us just had this done...>>

Manifolds are just going on as we speak. It's the extrude hone process...Flow bench readings indicate about a 15% better flow. While I haven't driven mine yet it should result in some incremental gains. Default Yea cuz my friend who works with RX7s ports stuff all the time on his car and he wanted to do mine!

Im thinking about doing it!

Default You could have saved a bunch on the group buy!

A polished/ported Wilson manifold which looks the same and returned the same results retails for about $1,000. Several here (GesTTalt and ZGTT) have one...
